Our work is focused on understanding how low-carbon energy transitions happen within different sectors of the economy, constrained by existing infrastructure and business models, and how policy responses can improve outcomes.

The group is led by Sara Hastings-Simon, an associate professor in the department of Earth, Energy and Environment, and The School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary.
